The Tour De Taiwan saw us line up next to fellow continental and pro continental teams from across Europe and Asia as we raced from the South of Taiwan to the North over 5 stages and 718 km.
It was a tough race from the start that saw many teams with strong ambitions to break away and make their mark. Nicolas White as he does on the big occasions stepped up on Stage 3 and took the top step for the day, leaving him tied for the GC.
“It is my first Tour de Taiwan, I am pretty excited. It's definitely the race I targeted in, so yeah, to be able to come away with a win in one of the stages, I am very happy with that. Now we fight on for the next few stages, and try to get well overall.” - Nicolas White
Though it wasn’t to be over the next few days where we saw some very strong bunch kicks where we placed consistently in the top 10 just unable to capitalise in those final moments,
We finished 7th overall in the teams GC but loved the race and the experiences it brought to the team on as a whole. The level of organisation that was shown by the event staff was phenomenal and we can’t wait to come back again!
